PHARMACY UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM, FACULTY OF MATHEMATICS AND NATURAL SCIENCES, UDAYANA UNIVERSITY IN COLLABORATION WITH THE BALI REGIONAL POLICE CHIEF TO MAKE HAND SANITIZERS MADE FROM "ARAK BALI"

Udayana University community service in collaboration with the Bali Regional Police in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19 by educating the public to live clean and healthy is done by making hand sanitizers with raw materials of Balinese wine that is done by students, lecturers and employees of the Faculty of Pharmacy Study Program at Udayana University.

 

On Thursday 2 April 2020 at the Forensic Laboratory of the LPPM Building of Udayana University, the handover of "U-Care" hand sanitizer products was carried out. In this case, the handover was carried out by the Rector of Udayana University represented by the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Ni Luh Watiniasih, PhD., Who was accompanied by the Pharmacy Study Program Coordinator, Ibu Dewa Ayu Swastini, SF., M.Farm., Apt to the Bali police chief represented by Komandan Satuan "Brimob Polda Bali" Kombespol Ardyansah Daulay, S.IK., MH accompanied by Denpasar Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner Jansen A.P., S.IK.

 

"U-Care" hand sanitizer products will later be distributed free of charge to the public in several districts in Bali, including in Bangli, Jembrana, Badung, Tabanan, Gianyar and Denpasar. With the use of hand sanitizers by residents when doing activities outside, it is expected to reduce the spread of covid-19. Udayana University always wants to educate the public to pay attention to personal hygiene and health.
